It arrived quickly and works great. I made a 5800 mile contact with 20 watts on 20m in SSB.
As pictured and described

Got this for a in-home "base station" radio project. It works fine and has lasted well in the elements outdoors. Good product. Highly recommended.

Could have higher quality connectors
100 feet is cheaper than 50, great 10/11 meter antenna coax, buy it and you'll be glad you did.

100 feet twin shield foil and braided, cpvc cover with a ton of flexibility copper center.
this is a GREAT CABLE for under 100mhz. CB'ers take note, it's fine for 1500 watts. and low loss center copper is braided. dont listen to the "You need 9913 or RG 213" no, you really don't. I have an imax 2000 on some thin radio shack 18 year old trash coax that I routinely fire 1000 watts thru and talk 1500 to 6400 miles on 10/11 meters. and this cable is far superior to that. low loss, when I swept it i got the least loss from 3 to 58 mhz (.2db to 1.4db @ 100 feet) for HF work this cable is actually pretty good, and 18 bucks for 100 feet is 18 cents a foot. with molded PL 259s. .take a look at at the 50 feet pkg being MORE money, buy this, cut to length and solder on the end and you'll have a backup cable too. or enough to do a few vehicle antennas.
This RG8X is excellent HF cable, not so good for VHF/UHF as it's very lossy above 130 mhz, and I use LMR400 Exclusively for anything above 100mhz...LMR240 is also an option, but remember the LMR cables have a solid center conductor and it will break if you swap radios often, LMRis very inflexible and will crack internally without warning if subject to stress, wind movement or extreme cold. so use a pigtail of a flexible wire to avoid moving the LMR.
this stuff is well priced, good quality and delivered in 1 day. ordering more.
5 stars are warranted
