Slightly thinner and more sensitive than Okamoto Crown condoms, but pricier!

I've used over a thousand of the original Okamoto Crown condoms over the years, and they have always been fine. But as an older guy, I'm slowing down and the Okamoto 004 is slightly thinner which allows me to feel more stimulated which I appreciate. Nothing wrong with the Crown, and if you're quick on the trigger they would probably be better (though they are still relatively thin compared to other brands). But if you want more sensitivity (almost like wearing nothing) the 004 is for you. Note that the 004 costsfour times the cost of the Crown, but as I see it, the price of condoms is the LEAST of all the costs of having a girlfriend. YMMV
Try it, you'll like it...

Just received these, so I've only used one. I've mainly been using Crown and Beyond Seven lately. I prefer the Crown; Beyond Seven were just too tight, really seemed to pinch at the base, almost choking. Crown tended to be a slightly better fit, but the lube level was low.
The 004 is more like the Crown than the Beyond Seven as far as fit. Snug, but didn't pinch, and length was good. Thin? Yes. Thinner than Crown Skinless? On paper, yes, but in actual use I didn't really notice much of a difference. First thing my wife said, though: "These don't smell bad at all!" That was always a deal-breaker for Trojan and even LifeStyles, the latex stench. You couldn't get the smell off your fingers until two or three washings later. Okamoto's lines are definitely better, but even the Crown smelled a little bit. 004 might be a game changer there. :)
Like I said, I've only tried one, but the heat transfer was very good, and the feel was good, as well. Lube level was a bit low again, but wifey didn't need to break out the Wet. If I find anything wrong with these (durability, etc) I'll update this, but as for now I'd probably spring for these over Crowns. I mean, yeah, they're more expensive by double, but I'm married; I'm not using 20 a month (though I'd like to). It's not like they're $10/shot.
Do yourself a favor: buy an assortment with these in it, or buy the smallest quantity of them and try them along with Crown Skinless and LifeStyles or Durex Extra Sensitive. Both you and your partner really need to try each of them a few times before making a decision. If you're used to using over-the-counter types common in pharmacies (Trojan, LifeStyles) you'll be SHOCKED at how much difference switching types makes!
Assortments are actually a pretty fun way to mess around, as well, because sometimes you can get ones you or your partner wouldn't normally try (ribbed/studded after 15+ years of marriage makes for a bit more interest in what's actually happening, which is always a good thing). There are plenty of assortments available here, though I don't know if you'll find this premium item included in any of them.
Oh, and packaging? Don't worry about that. Even the shipping email didn't have the normal Amazon "You're shipment of Okamoto Condoms has shipped!" you're used to seeing, and the packaging was a nice brown padded paper envelope with no markings saying what might be in it. I don't even recall seeing a shipping note, so it's VERY discrete.
Only reason these don't get a 5-star rating from me? You may wish to use a little extra lube if you're into 30-minute (or rough) sessions; I'd look for Wet water-based products, or possible Pjur Eros Original Bodyglide silicone-based lube (condom-safe).
Plus I've only tried one. Granted, I've been using Okamoto-made condoms for about two years with zero blow-outs and a much happier wife. I'll try to update this review once I've used a few more.

Even the standard Okamoto products are safe and secure because they are standard. It doesn change much even if it not 0.01. You should buy this amount at this price
These are a winner and thinness matters.

I had bought Atlas True Fit Condoms previously and wanted to give these a try, even though these are at a premium price. I now understand why. As cliche as it sounds with marketing hype I didn't think that half the thickness mattered as much as it did - these truly feel like I'm not wearing anything. They hold up just fine. I now know what I've been missing and will never go back.
Wow it was like bare skin!

These things are the best I have tried if your looking for something that feels like you have nothing on. I will be reordering these for sure when I run low. I say try these out because the trojan raw are way too thick and block 60% of the feeling
