The microcell works intermittently. The indicator bars flash all the time: not steady. Indicative of power lapses. They should replace unit with one certified to work

Our house is in an area with spotty coverage from AT&T and making voice calls was a frustrating thing. Calls would almost always establish but it was very difficult to find a place in the house where people could hear you when you were talking with them. Even when you did find place where you could stand on one foot an lean toward a window the spot would occasionally move and you were back searching again. So we decided to buy this used microcell and hope it worked. I was nervous because of the bad reviews and the people who couldn't get it to work. But to my surprise the setup and product worked exactly as described. I plugged it in, waited about 15 minutes and then did the registration on the A&T website. I am not a very patient person but after about 90 minutes of pacing and checking the flashing lights on the front of the microcell the GPS and 3G lights stopped flashing and went solid green. Although I was very tempted to a few times to unplug it and reboot it I am glad I resisted and let it do its thing. For people like me I would recommend doing it just before bed or before leaving the house and avoid the wasted 90 minutes of watching lights flash. I may have gotten little lucky and picked a good seller - Mani Products. There are multiple sellers of these used microcells and I picked Mani Products because of their reviews and they claimed to test the devices to make sure they were unregistered from the previous owner and were ready for a new registration process. Given some of the bad reviews on this product I recommend checking the seller ratings.

Could not believe when I started having problems about 6 months ago with my signal inside my condo, keep calling them, and when I finally got in touch with an AT&T tech support person who was super helpful, they said that they didn't guarantee that the signal would work INSIDE...wha?? I can't use my cellphone inside?? They said they had checked all the towers (ha!) and I was right in the middle of three, but maybe blah blah blah.....so I was pretty cheesed that I would have to buy something to get a signal INSIDE MY HOME!

So ordered this, super easy peasy to set up. And I LOVE it! Get a better, more consistent, more stable signal than I think I've ever had!! Glad I got it!
