Not the qaulity you would expect from this company

I love the other products I have gotten from Jonti craft over the years, but the quality of this glider is noticably lower. First, a bolt that is used in the glider mechanism is too long, so it catches every time you make a rocking motion. Second, the arm rest cover is too small and the tabs are not large enough, so you really have to strain to get the cover on, and then it doesn't fit well. The foam seat is VERY hard, so be prepared- I don't think you could sit in this chair just afer a c-section. This is one of the few products that Jonti craft sells that is not made in the US, and it seems that their engineering and attention to detail has really suffered. Keep your expectations low.
UPDATE: It's now almost a year, and this chair has really not held up. We have two, and the glider mechanisms on both make a grinding noise when used, so we can't rock our child to sleep. We heard a big clang one day and a piece of wood fell off the bottom (it looks like it had been hot-glued). All-in-all, the construction on this chair is so beneath the quality that I've trusted from this company.
