First of all, for people complaining about orange hair, USE A TONING CONDITIONER. It will work wonders. Also, it says right on the box that it is not recommended for gray, heavily highlighted, or dark hair. It did lighten my medium brown virgin roots to almost platinum blonde though. The rest of my hair was already bleached and dyed blue. It did take a lot of the blue out but not all of it like the prism works blue bleach I normally use does. I knew that might be the case, but I wanted to try it. It didn't damage my hair as much as regular bleach does either. So overall it's a good product to use on virgin hair that is not dark. I plan to follow up with a bleach wash to remove the rest of the blue and then I'm going pink ;)
