We've tried several sunflower seeds brands roasted and unroasted on Amazon. The roasted always tasted stale. The unroasted have zero flavor.
After doing an extensive search on Amazon scrolling through several pages, we found this product. We didn't want to purchase 12 bags, but based on the reviews we decided to.
The sunflower seeds are very fresh and taste excellent. We've only gone through a few bags, and refrigerate them after opening. Highly recommend if you love roasted sunflower seeds.

I bought these because suddenly they are hard to find, or expensive. These are fresh and tasty and a good price. My only complaint is that they come in a pack of 12 bags, and this batch was dated for use by November. I live alone, so that's a lot of sunflower seeds to eat! I wish they would offer them in a variety of pack sizes. It wou;d be better for me to have a pack of 4-6. Otherwise, I'm happy with them.

I switched to this brand 2 years ago because the other brand became reliably stale. This one was much better although in recent months they were slightly stale. My most recent order was different, perfectly fresh. There is a difference in the packaging--I can no longer tear it open where it says, "tear here". Maybe that's how they solved the staleness problem. The other thing is that the price for 12 7.5-oz.packages more than doubled over the past year, from $21.01 on November 19, 2022 to $26.39 on February 26, 2023 to $35.63 on June 6, 2023 to $44.46 on November 3, 2023.
