Cheap, flimsy and doesn't fit at all.

Hahahahaha!!!! This is a cheap, flimsy, piece of plastic that barely covers the pool light it's intended for. It just kinda "snaps" in place over the light....but then it doesn't stay there. Ever. It doesn't matter if there's only 2 adults swimming or a party of 40 teenagers; this light kept falling off, then it finally broke when someone tossed it out. I didn't even mind.

Our pool light was non functional when we bought our house a year ago. We finally got the light fixture replaced recently, but the incandescent light paired with our light blue colored pool created a bit of a greenish color at night. So I found this blue lens cover and wow, I like it so much better. It also cuts down on the glare from the 500W bulb, which was a bit like looking into a car headlight. Yes there are some slots on the sides that allow some light leakage, but it doesn't bother me. I believe these slots are there to allow water movement behind the cover. My light gets quite warm so I think this is a necessary feature. Note that the plastic cover sticks out a bit, it does not sit directly on the glass lens of the light fixture.

For what it is, I was happy with the outcome of this blue lens cover. I have an old Pentair Ameriquartz halogen light. The cover took 5 seconds to install and was a perfect fit. There is some minor light leakage on the sides, but it illuminated the entire pool with a deep blue color and I have a light bottom.

I moved into a house a couple months ago with a pool. The light cover was cracked and without a light cover the pool light look like a headlight from a car in the pool, it blinded us at night. The light cover seems to fit quite well it took a while to get it in position. However the only drawback is there are cut outs on three sides of the light which allow the white light to come through and shine on the side of the pool. No big deal. However it does take away from the cool blue effect of the light when you can see white on the walls.

Perfect fit for the Jandy standard lights. Use a mask when you attempt to put them on and make sure the tabs line up. The cover has three tabs that fit perfectly into the Jandy slots already there. This also means they don't fall off. These things feel solid when installed! The electric blue is wonderful and we get WAY fewer june bugs. Note: This blue color is not as bright so watch close if you have many kids in the pool at night.
