As expected Pentek quality
Beware loose pipe threads. With plastic pipe you will need to buy or make a mounting bracket

Other reviewers noted that the female pipe threads are a bit too loose, and that it is very hard to prevent leakage. I thought that as a professional, I could handle it. I could, but it was NOT easy, requiring maybe as much as 5 or 6 _feet_ of teflon tape used so as to also help make a seal between the end of the nipple and the very small lip inside the cap. That aside, it worked well: Exactly as I expected. It _should_ have shipped with a mounting bracket, but they chose to make that an added-cost item. Tut-tut.
Leaks at the top, O-ring failure?

Seems quite a shame to have to return a simple thing as a filter housing. Another reviewer mentions the o-ring is hard to set. Maybe that is the problem and why it leaks leaks leaks. I'll try again to set the o-ring and if still leaking, back it goes.

Very solid unit with good thick, strong walls. Do note the fitting size is 3/4.
