It is very well made. I did have a little bit of a problem getting the holes to line up. I put the front bolts in first, and then I used a pry bar to spring the back holes inward about a quarter inch to get the bolts through.

First, packaging was POOR - they simply threw the skid plate in box and shipped it - no packing material around it. As a result the skid plate was pretty beat up, with some significant bends in the metal on edges etc. I was able to bend everything back using hammers, etc, so it will still work, VERY POOR packing. This is a VERY heavy duty skid plate, worth the extra $$.

I own a 1992 Jeep Wranger YJ. When I bought my Jeep it had a "15 gallon" gas tank in it, and my gas guage was not working. Keeping this short, I bought a new MTS 0065 gas tank for my Jeep. When I tried to put the new MTS gas tank in the original skid plate 1) The new straps were ~4 inches short, and 2 when I tried to put the tank/skid plate back into my Jeep the skid plate front hinge (by the rear axel) where ~4 inches from the lip it is supposed to attach to. I ended up calling MTS to ask them about what I was experiencing; the guy on the phone was EXTREMELY helpful and told me all KINDS of information about YJ gas tanks I had never heard before. The short answer is if you are going to replace the gas tank in your YJ, and you buy a new MTS 20 0065 gallon tank, then you are very likely going to NEED to also purchase THIS SPECIFIC Warrior skid plate for it to fit correctly.

Fit great once I wiggled the tank into position. Holes lined up perfectly. Much easier install if you have an extra set of hands

I had to replace a leaking tank, and the skid plate was rusted out so I bought the warrior product. Excellent product, only required minor manipulation to get the bolts lined up (you should expect the same). Doesn't come with hardware or straps. Straps that worked perfectly are SPECTRA PREMIUM ST 212.
