Fine criss cross file. Finally decided to make it little easier on myself and leave the cutting to the nail cutter and filing to this easier to hold file. Should take less time to smooth the edge after cutting.

File is much small than thought. But, if I had read more I would have seen the 2.5" usable file size. It works well on the nails but is sharp and cut into my fingers when I first used it. Not sure if that is going to be a problem, I may have to file the outside edges to keep from cutting myself open and causing a secondary infection. If it is too sharp I will use it for my silver smithing or hobbies. Best file I have purchased so far on Amazon. Hard to find good quality and right size files without being right there to see for self.

This nail file is awful. Very rough to file with. I had an old LA cross for years and if the plastic handle hadn't broken I would still use it. This one is no comparison. Your nails get stuck when filing and the thing is useless.

I keep trying to find a teal file that will work. No success. I returned the last one but am not bothering doing so with this one. I guess that I need to find one in a store, which is hard since I have not found any that carry metal files. This one sounded good but not!
