What can I say? We just love this European-style chocolate-malt beverage! (FYI, the Euro style is not so sickeningly sweet as the American product made for sugar-lovers...)
Ovaltine Malt mix is maltless

I was very disappointed in this Ovaltine. It tastes more like bitter grain to me than the malted Ovaltine I used to get. I can't discern any malt flavor. I like that it has less sugar, but I don't like it well enough to see myself finishing this large can of it. Wish you had a smaller size to try it first.

So much more malty and less sweet than the US version, there is no comparison. I feel this is the one and only real Ovaltine.
Similar to the UK version

A close second, tied with the UK version. Both have barley malt as the main ingredient with no added colorings. The Swiss Ovomaltine is in solid first place with more cocoa than any of the others. All 3 are superior to the US made version.
