So far good! Per advice of so many reviewers, I brought the toilet seat to Home Depot to pair it up with a 5 gal bucket. The seat fits a $3 Home Depot bucket with no problem. I can even add 3 plastic bags and not have a problem with its installation and removal.
I gave it a 4 stars though because the lid always misalign with the seat causing the lid to not be fully opened. I end up having to align it every time. Putting duct tape over both hinges solved this problem. So far, so good!

Did not fit snug on any size buckets. It would sit lightly on top then the lid wouldn't stay open.. wanted to shut.
It's ok if you want to balance yourself but Inwas thinking it snapped on securely. That is not the case.

I bought this after cycle Cruiser on YouTube recommended it. We love this thing. We have a couple of them. And of course we have our Home Depot bucket. It's amazing. Plop it on a bucket have your little trash bags in there with a little bit of cat litter on the side when you're done put a couple piece of cat litter in their clothes lead and no smell. No Mass. I'm a big girl. And I sit on this thing very comfortably. It will support weight up to 320 lb. At least that's the max we've tried it so far. We have one in our van when we go on trips and do stealth camping. We have one in our camper. And one in our 4 X4 so when we hit the beach. Okay enjoy I hope this helps

The description said it snaps onto any 5 gallon bucket. The bucket I planned to use it with is just an ordinary 5 gallon bucket I bought from Walmart. It doesn't fit. It's too small. But what I did was use pliers to bend the edges of the bucket top inward and now it fits great. But, for the money, I shouldn't have had to do anything extra to make fit. Also, I use ordinary trash bags with a little CampaChem to control odors. I'm a female trucker and this comes in handy at night or when there is no bathroom available.
