I hate using harsh, caustic chemicals in my home. I had heard about this product and actually bought some about a year ago, but didn't get around to using it due to the difficulty of going without using one of the few sinks in my home for a full 24 hours as per the directions. In the last couple of days, however, my bathroom sink had become fully stopped up and so I bit the bullet. I followed the directions of 2 qt warm water + 2 cups of the enzymes and when I checked on the progress a couple of hours later, the sink was empty. I can also visibly see that a lot of the gunk on the sides of the pipes is gone. Given how well it's working so far on my sink without even having had the full time to work, I have to wonder if those having trouble aren't following the directions and are expecting the nearly immediate clog removal of something like Draino.
I'll definitely be buying this again and will be trying the maintenance directions in the hope of keeping the pipe gunk to a minimum in the future. Even if not, it's clearly worth keeping around for the major clogs.

This stuff is the best. I use it once a week for a drain that can start to smell but it also cleared the fibers from the washing machine drain that was backing up to the floor drain.

I am SO incredibly happy with this product - it LITERALLY saved the day. I had an issue with drain flies in the garbage disposal side of my sink (they are like fruit flies with GIANT wings that multiply like crazy) and it was making me go bonkers!! Just ONE use of this product COMPLETELY cleared them out. (they feed/breed on organic matter stuck in the lining of drain pipes, etc..) Now I use it every month or so proactively so I never have to deal with those pests again!

I have long hair and lose a clump every time I wash it so I am used to getting clogs. I bought this and the millipede tool. Attempted to remove shower stall clog with millipede first but the clog must have been too far down pipe as millipede didn't retrieve anything. I followed directions on Earth Enzymes--dissolved 2 cups in 2 quarts warm water. All the white powder dissolved but the brown particles did not. Poured in drain and waited 24 hours. I flushed with 2 quarts hot water but still had slow drain. I heard it gurgle some at the end so I poured in another 2 quarts hot water and whoosh drain was back in action!! Turned on shower to rinse out last of the brown particles and drain works like a champ. I have now installed an extra cover to prevent hair from entering the drain.

How can you really tell if this product is working. Well, i just had my entire plumbing inspected with roto router and zip, nada, nothing, zero, no clogs anywhere in my plumbing. RR used a camera system and snaked the camera up every line in my house, clean. every pipe!!!
