buy a stronger one. This little thing has a little trouble pushing the water out of the matching hose kit. Once or twice I actually suck on the end of the hose to start the syphon and give it a boost. No boat water in the mouth. yet.

Loud, Grindy Noise. I bought the Rule 25D Submersible Bilge Pump, 500 Gallon Per Hour, 12 Volt DC, Non-Automatic,Red/White/Blue to replace this. Rule 25D is whisper quiet. Shoreline is loud, but more powerful.
Low pressure, modest flow, leads reversed

Good little pump with a few issues:

1. The color of the leads was "backwards". Red is NOT +12V, it's ground. Black is hot. When hooked up backwards, no damage, it just pumps in the wrong direction.

2. Flow is modest (I didn't measure it, but it looks like maybe 1-2L/minute = 60 liters/hr. Absolutely NOT 600 no way.

3. Pressure is somewhat weak. It won't throw water more than maybe a foot up into the air when run at its max capacity.

4. It's not noisy, but it's not quiet either. A noticeable hum/buzz, maybe 40-45dba.

I was going to use it for a water transfer pump to fill my RV tank, but the flow is nowhere near what I'd need it to be. Still looking for a better solution. Didn't get around to checking it out until after 30 days, so it'll sit on my shelf.

It works alright but you have to wire it in REVERSE if you want it to suck OUT from the bottom of the bilge pump
Great little motor

Great little pump, works fine, tested when I had to beach due to motor failure, and heavy waves put 8 inches of water in the back of the boat, pumped it out quickly and without complaint.
