Lock&Lock is a perfect name for these containers. I wanted something airtight for my coffee beans, and this fits the bill. I had a similar container from Rubbermaid, but I could never get all four sides to lock, only two. I got this as a replacement, and I am thrilled! This container locks in place without any problems. It works exactly as described in the product description. Another nice thing is that it's slimmer than my previous container, so it takes up less space in my cupboard. The plastic is thin and lightweight but extremely strong. The 135 fluid ounce container is large enough to hold 2-1/2 pounds of coffee beans. I buy five pounds at a time, so it's nice to know that I can store my beans without worrying about keeping them fresh. If you're looking for a high quality, airtight container for your foods, this is it!

Bought another brand of food storage for years and years. Had family members having parties and selling the stuff so I bought a lot of it. I bought my first Lock & Lock from QVC several years ago and fell in love with the ease of use. Got rid of all the other brand and own pretty much nothing but Lock & Lock now. I really love these lock and lock containers! They won't leak like the cheap throw away kind. The only drawback for some people might be the fact they do not stack inside of each other....and need to be stacked with the lids on so they take up a bit of space...but I love them so much I managed to find space for them. So far, they don't seem to stain from food either, they seem to wash up well. I hope that continues when I try to store spaghetti sauce in them. I will update this review when I do. I do love how nicely they stack in the refrigerator as well, looks very neat.

I have Lock & Lock that is probably 6 or 7 years old. It still holds a seal perfectly - I trust these containers enough that I would put soup in them and then throw in my purse to take to work, and not worry about leaking.
I needed more of them, and I cheaped out and ordered another brand. Big mistake. I diced a cauliflower on Sunday and filled one old Lock & Lock with it, and one of the cheapo containers with it. On Wednesday, I wanted to cook that cauliflower. I opened both containers, and the Lock & Lock one was great, but the cheapo container smelled awful inside. It didn't actually keep a seal. So - I learned my lesson, Lock & Lock for the win, and I placed an order for more Lock & Lock so I could throw out the cheapos.
