Excellent Value for Parker stainless pen and pencil set

This Parker set is a very nice set. Keep in mind this is a $20 set not $100 plus Mont blanc. I use these day to day casual use around the office/production facility, and reserve my Mont Blanc for professional meeting etc.

Without a doubt the Parker Jotter pen is my everyday and go to pen. Who said tradition was a thing of the past? I've used a Parker Jotter pen for years and was disappointed when I misplaced my last one. This time I decided to get the pen and pencil set. I highly recommend this combination.

I work a lot with mechanical pencil as my daily routine. Before buying this item, I was using one of those shaker.... well, didn't last as long as I wished it would.
For the pencil, it writes smooth and it's good grip. It doesn't seem like it because the surface is so smooth; however, I don't have any problems with writing and it hasn't slipped out of my hand in the middle of the writing yet.
For the pen, I've found it a bit on the too light side. I am used to carrying/using tactical pen as my daily work routine, this pen came a bit too light so it ends up being a back up pen. Not much to really complain about it, it's still a Parker and the built appears to be solid. But again, just a bit too light.

I give it four stars because it looks fantastic and very professional. The pencil looks just like the pen but has three lines around the push button so you can tell them apart. Well made and works well. My only problem is with the pen; as it gives trouble as it sometimes does not write on the page, the ink sometimes does not run as it should; which is a big negative. I would really give 3.5 stars but that was not an option.
