Really useful--push the button to hold the door open, bump the door and it closes. Do observe the instructions to be sure that it's positioned properly--one end the right distance from the door, the other extended right distance. If there's little space between the main door and screen door, this won't be right for you. For three of my four installations, i was able to use the existing mounting points, so try that first.
How much do I like it? An hour after I installed one, I bought enough for my other door and my friend's door. Then I bought another, which I take with me when traveling to friends or family in case they'd like to try it.

Edit: Worked well until it failed two and a half months later. The opener rod is completely jammed at an angle. I called the phone number on the sticker and they would only sell me a replacement that cost more than the original I paid for.

Why didn't all screen door owners get an email when this closer was put in the marketplace? Love this door closer. I can take the dog out, touch the hold button with a toe and the door magically stays ajar. When you want the door to close, give it a slight push and the door closes.. Simple to use and installation was rather easy also. I was only replacing a broken door closer, so the holes were already there and I didn't need to drill any new ones to make this fit. A quick turn of the adjustment knob and the door closes at the speed I like. I would recommend this to anyone with a screen door that needs a door closer.

Seems great. We ordered just the one instead of two. The product information suggests getting 2 for full pane glass storm doors (one at top, one at bottom), but says that one can handle up to a 60lbs door. We had a metal closer that lost its movement (only slammed) so for this product we installed onto existing metal brackets just the part that closes & not the brackets that came in the package (they're heavy duty plastic). The tension setting that came out of the box was just right for us so we haven't adjusted it.
