much more convenient for travel than carrying another cable just bring a 110-220 V adapter
Bradley K•April 7, 2018
works well for my camera battery charger and is much more convenient than carrying another cable. Just bring along a 110-220 V adapter for international travel. Most chargers operate on 110-220V so a transformer is generally not needed. furthermore, since most 220V outlets are recessed, a 110-220 v adapter makes this about the right depth to plug in.
Perfect for Fujifilm camera battery chargers

I use these with my Fujifilm battery chargers so that I don't have to use the cord that comes with them. Works beautifully!

Great solution to dangling cords.

I'll echo what others say: this is a perfect replacement for the ridiculously long cable that Olympus and some other manufacturers ship with their camera battery chargers. Waaaay better. Also, check out the Euro version of this plug if you are traveling to Europe. Most chargers are dual voltage, and so the euro plug is all you need when you travel over there! Really convenient!
Good item for what it is, it's just not what it could be and there's a better way to achieve the same thing.

Better than the cord that came with my battery charger but then I found that the small white folding pronged piece that comes with Apple computers will do the same and be even better angled, so this got shelved. The problem with this is the angle - it makes whatever it plugs into just that more unwieldy. I prefer the prongs either straight out or foldable.
Cut the cord - swap this handy unit for the cord on your camera's battery charger.

I swapped this handy little adapter for the long, bulky cord on my battery charger for the Olympus OM-D EM-1 Mark II. Now the charger is more portable and lays flush with the wall, so no more dangling cord. An inexpensive solution to a poorly designed battery charger; highly recommended.
