It is replacing my old grill that was 10 years old,

I've been using Weber grills for 30 years and this is the best one. Also, the most expensive! However, it has been worth it.
We grilled Thanksgiving turkey on it and everyone said it was the best ever. The searing station works great and the fact that it has a smoker box provides a new set of options for outdoor cooking.
It was a little complicated to install, but the directions provided clear and easy to understand step by step instructions.
And, it looks great!

After two years of use, the following things are clear: PROS: 1. Affordable compared to other built-ins. 2. Roll-in-place design, instead of drop-in design of most other built-ins, vastly simplifies construction of grill island. We built our own. Also makes eventual replacement easier without having to demo the whole island. 3. Replacement parts should be much easier to find years from now than parts for limited-production built-ins. 4. Grilling performance is great. CONS: 1. The smoker box has far too much airflow; chips or pellets are more likely to flame than smoke, and the grill dissipates smoke quickly anyway. Good for a vague hint of smoke flavor, but not usable as a smoker. 2. Exterior stainless is of a lesser grade than the more expensive built-ins, and stains easily. Spills, drippings, sap, bird stuff, etc., must be cleaned off with some urgency or they will leave a permanent rust stain. A deft hand with steel wool is required to remove exterior rust stains and blend in with the brushed texture.

This is a very nice grill that has some nice features not present on my old Weber Genesis. It's a built-in natural gas grill, so no hassle of swapping propane tanks. It also has a "sear station" for quick searing meats, a built in smoker chip compartment, and an included rotisserie with a separate rotisserie burner. Only issue I had was with installation. A couple of the trim pieces on the sides and bottom apparently did not fit and could not be screwed in properly. So, they are Gorilla-glued, which is kind of janky for a $2000+ grill, but it is what it is.

Ordered to replace prior grill. Easy assembly. High quality. Delivers high temperature if desired. My wife had the burners at 50% and the thermometer read 700F. Comes with well made cover. Made in the USA. Weber is famous for keeping replacement parts in stock.
