Perfect fit!

Just received and it's nicer than described. It's a perfect fit for my old Western W36 (5.5" blade, sheath is 6") The snap is even the correct length. Sewing, and riveting are perfect!
Fits old "Sheriffs" knife perfectly.

Good quality but my 5.5 inch blade only goes to the 3rd rivet. It has about 2 inches of flop left. Wiil fit a 7 inch blade...

An inexpensive sheath...... I use this one for a camp knife that stays in the camp box when not in use. For under $10, I always keep a couple around but don't expect this to hold up under even medium use or last for long.
In a word, perfect for the price.

These were a gift for my father in law, who had acquired some really nice hand made hunting knives, but had no way to carry them. They are much nicer than their low price suggests. The basket weave pattern is stamped, and they are made in Mexico of thick but pliable leather. Both of mine were free of imperfections and very nice. He couldn't get the snap around the handle of one, but that's sort of a minor detail. The belt looks are big and let the knife ride forward or backwards when you sit so it doesn't jam against your leg. I'd buy more if I had knives I needed sheaths for.
