Great banana flavor and a little goes a long way so it will last a while

I use this in my low carb pancakes. I really miss banana nut bread now that I have to restrict my carbs for health issues. I purchased several different flavors but the banana mixed with crushed walnuts makes my low carb pancakes taste very similar to banana nut bread. I highly recommend.
Very strong alcohol taste, very mild banana taste

They've removed the propylene glycol, the formula, but this banana extract is disappointing. At recipe levels it's way too mild to taste, increase it, and it's awfully alcohol-tasting. My husband has asked me to discard it.
Artificial tasting and weak flavored like banana vodka gone wrong.

It's really tough to find a banana taste in this flavoring, so you end up just adding more of it in hopes of getting that flavor. Instead it just tastes more artificial the more you add. The smell is good when its cold but after cooking in baked goods it smelled very chemically.
I'm a chef and baker

I'm a chef and baker trying to live a low sugar/carb lifestyle. This is by far the best banana pure extract I've found. If you can afford it buy pure extracts if you can't use whole ingredients. I recommend.
Not great ..

I had been searching for a banana extract for quite some time, I wanted a Banana extract that was similar to one that I used to get many years ago. I can't remember the brand name, but it was great. I would make zucchini bread and add the banana extract with the ingredients and for many years when my children were young they thought they were eating "banana bread" because it smelled and tasted like banana bread.
This Olive Nation brand would never have fooled them, it does not have the scent of real banana nor does it flavor the bread like the old brand I was accustomed to. I made 2 loaves of banana bread using 6 banana's for the batch , added not one but 2 tsps. of this Olive Nation extract and you would never even know I added any. I think next time I will add 2 TBS. and see if that makes a difference. I would have thought 2 tsps. would have been enough but apparently not.
As my husband was eating a slice of the bread he stated , it taste like banana bread and smells pretty good. I said it should I actually used real banana's in it not just the extract ! He had thought I made zucchini bread.
So as I stated it is not going to be one of my favorite items and I wouldn't purchase it again, I will use what I have and keep searching for the old brand I loved. This is not bad , just not the best I have ever used. It lacks flavor and scent.
