Great scaffold - I'm 6'4" and 300+ lbs and it felt very secure
Scott TurnerJune 13, 2016
I wanted to modify the fluorescent fixtures on my 11' garage ceiling (to support LED replacement bulbs which are fantastic), and trying to do the work on top of my 8' ladder was too precarious for my tastes. So, I went looking for a scaffold solution, and found this one at my local orange big box hardware store chain.

Assembly is straightforward, maybe 15-20 minutes, and the end result is a solid rolling scaffold that supports deck heights up to 6 feet. I used it at about 4.5-5 feet high, and frankly wished it had had a railing for me to hold onto. The end rails extended up above the deck, but they were a bit low and not always positioned near where I was working.

Not that the scaffold was unsteady or anything (it does have a slight wobble, but nothing that would cause any issues), but I was standing on the deck and working over head for a couple of hours, and although I'm not unduly afraid of heights I also don't want to slip, fall, and crack my melon on the concrete garage floor, either. But, that's not a failing of this product, and they sell railing kits for it, as well as extensions that roughly double the working height.

When you're done with this scaffold it can be broken down to be stored, or left intact for use as shelves - I'm probably going to use as shelves, and maybe even add some of my own boards to make additional shelves.
The scaffold is great and easy to put together

Found this set of scaffolding (exactly the same) at the home depot $219. The scaffold is great and easy to put together. Going to buy a second set for stacking.
Rugged, easy one man assemble, versatile.

Great scaffold. Ordered two and have used them many, many times already. With both stacked it can take a little getting used to the wobble, but nothimg that seems too unmanageable. I've also found these very useful on steps. Note: you will likely need to leave off the wheels on the high side (see pic). I have found these to be very easy to setup without needing someone to help. Thes can store easily disassembled, but I find that is much better to use them as rolling shelves. Add your own 2x's or plywood for even more shelves.
Good for homeowner

Well constructed for a home owner. Good height for painting, installing molding, etc. Rolls good on flat surface but not good for outside use on grass or rocks. Get the best buy you can...it appears they are all the same.
Easy use / tough as nails

I recently purchesed 2 of the Werner SRS-72 6' Rolling Scaffolds for my business. They are super easy to put together and just as easy to adjust and move around. You can easily adjust one side lower than the other for uneven work surfaces such as a hill or stairs. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to lessen ladder moves and a larger work platform.
