On tables in younger grades they would be perfect. They have held up well

These are smaller than some others that are offered. I prefer this smaller size. They work very well for my class (5th Grade) and fit well on the desks. For much younger grades these may be too big unless they are used on tables as opposed to desks. On tables in younger grades they would be perfect. They have held up well. The only reason I did not give them five stars is that I wish there was an easy way to store them. I have them put away in a closet until students need them. A storage box would have been useful. They did come in a cardboard box for shipment only (not storage). That box was damaged during shipping as many shipping boxes are. However, the "offices" held up great!

This product does exactly what it says it does. Would of liked it to be a little taller but based on the dimensions these fit evenly on two 6ft. tables to make 12 study carrels which was my purpose as I had to use them on 6ft. tables as you will see in the picture I provided. After extensive research on study carrels these were the only ones that I was able to do that with. I have bought study carrels before where you can fit two to a table, etc. For being cost effective and practical these get the job done. These are of cardboard so you have to be careful not to lean on them or they will bend but if taken care of will last. I have had these for over a year now. When a person is seated it blocks their view to look at anyone else.

I teach third grade and bought these for my class of third graders for during testing. They like using them for an extra bit of focus and privacy, too! They're not as tall as what some of my colleagues have, but I'm happy with the height. They seem like they'll last well as long as my students take good care for them.

This school year I was given desks that can be arranged in groups of four. With 40 high school students and a small classroom, groups of four is the only feasible arrangement. This is fine for group work, but what to do when giving a test? I found these carrels on line and ordered 24. The kids love them! They like the privacy it gives them and the A students appreciate that others can't copy from them. The first time I handed them out they wanted to stack them up, make a house , hide in them, etc. silly kids. I only wish my school would have paid for them, but that's not going to happen. They want to decorate them but they'll have to wait until June.
