I was skeptical because this fan was so inexpensive. Our last fan finally died and it was time to get a new one. Unfortunately it was just after a major heat wave. So everything was expensive, except this one. I am very happy with it. It looks a little flimsy, but once I put it together and turned it on, it's not bad. It's pretty quite, gives off good air flow (in a bedroom sized room), and doesn't fall over. It has easy buttons for speed settings. Nothing fancy but at half the cost of other fans, it's a deal.
