BAD ON SECOND DAY OF USE

Used only twice. On the third time it went bad. At start it no longer defaults to BEEF MED 160 but rather beeps not allowing any commands whatsoever. Just lost my money...

Ruined a beautiful beef tenderloin. Medium rare setting, 145 degrees, was well done. If buying this thermometer, use 110 degrees F for medium rare.

This is quick, accurate, and has some very nice features. We've used the T223 for over a year. Only downside is that the wire to probe will burn if in contact with an open flame (grill or stovetop) or burner (electric). All-Clad DOES NOT make a replacement probe so the whole thermometer must be purchased if the wire burns out.
