decent replica. where the two pieces of the staff joined the screws were a bit short, I replaced them with longer
not the best.

came in the mail with the package damaged, but that was only because the rear pike poked a hole in it. came in 2 seperate pieces, and it took me and my friend a while to learn that it had to be screwed in, which didnt even go in all the way. then, it had this nail in a small hole that was supposed to hold it in place supposedly, but with a nail that small you couldnt hold two pieces of bread together. its wobbly, dull, and only good as a showpiece or wall mount.

Gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because it has red frillies.
An elegant look, solid head and well formed handle ...

An elegant look, solid head and well formed handle are offset by an embarrassing attempt to hold the two halves of the handle together. Underneath the pewter cover were two 1" dry wall screws GLUED together, one end already embedded in the top shaft, the other end bare which was somehow supposed too hold the haft together after screwing the lower haft to it. I discovered the shoddiness rapidly when i tried to screw the lower half on, and the top screw simply fell off. I have removed the inset screw and am proceeding to make it workable. I am replacing the sub par hardware with what should have been used, a 1/4" double end dowel screw and making it permanent with liquid nails.

happy with productFebruary 4, 2015
This was a purchase that was made after being forgotten about at Christmas. Turned out to be the best birthday present for my grandson.
