One of if not the best thing I've bought from Amazon. I use it to study. Prop the book and the material does not let the book slide down. I use it to hold my locks when practicing my picking. I use it as a lapdesk when working in the office. Fits in my backpack, light and barely noticeable. I own two and considering a 3rd.

I have now had this product for over a year. It is fairly worn out with wear thru areas on the top and bottom. It has worn thru on the bottom along the edges near the stitching and on the top at an edge where the inside hard material is. It keeps the heat off for a little while but not when using your laptop for a long period of time. I also found it's oversized for my MacBook Pro, which I knew before I purchased it, was awkward at times. For the price it worked fine but am more disappointed in the wear. I'll have to start looking for a new one soon so am not yet sure if I will find something I think I'll like better. Price is also a big consideration.

These pads are amazing, my hands are so comfortable on my MacBook and the screen closes but not all the way but that works for me since my Mac doesn't move much. The sticky side of this its not so sticky to the point it's hard to remove or leave glue residue it's more like a gummy texture that sticks well to the aluminum of the Mac, they are easy to take off and out on, just put on sticky side to the other and place it in ur bag when on the go.

For the price, the Grafiti Lap Desk is pretty ok. I tend to use it in conjunction with my macbook air while on the couch. It helps to keep my laptop stable and draw some heat away from my thigh. It is essentially a comfortable, sturdy plank. The main issue is a tendency of the covering "grip" layer to separate from whatever hard surface the lap desk is made of. The lap desk isn't great but it works for my needs.

I could not have been more surprised about an online purchase had a unicorn popped out of the cardboard box that I received yesterday. My first impression: the cardboard wrapper over this thing was dirty. When I removed the pad from the wrap, I was disgusted to find that it looked like thing had been just sitting and rotting in someone's garage. Not only was the initial paper impression grubby, but it looks like someone handled this thing with soiled hands and got some kind of spatter all over it. What the heck happened to this thing before I received it? In all my time of ordering with Amazon, I've never, EVER got a filthy product.

In addition to the unhygienic appearance, making me reluctant to even touch this thing and try it out, it STINKS. I got up in the night and smelled something and, sure enough, the trail led to this lap desk.

I liked how solid the product felt. For people who say this will go into most sleeves for the MBP 13".. it's much too square for mine, but hey - who knows.

Amazon refunded me, so now in trying to decide whether I'll try my luck at purchasing again or not. The thing does feel sturdy and would be great to have around, but the stuff all over the desk gave me the heebeejeebees. I shouldn't have to wash a product I purchased brand new.
