I live in Hawaii and shave ice it's expensive here so I bought this machine and I'm very satisfied with the quality, strong built and fast shave, I recommend it to anybody with small kids and big kids like me !
Can't use circular ice molds only ice cubes

Based on the look of it from pictures I thought I could use the circular ice molds that most shavers use as an option. This doesn't allow; only ice cubes or broken ice as the inside has spiral like propeller that turns when activated to move the ice down to the blade below. You have to continue to add ice and the container doesn't hold too much unlike the mold would. Cheaply made but I guess price comparable to product.

This was okay. It seemed to be working pretty hard to shave the ice. You will lose a couple ice cubes that rattle around the bottom, and it's definitely not for heavy use. I returned it, because it didn't seem very durable.

I love this machine. I use it every day. I love crushed ice and moreover Hawaiian ice. I love it after a long day of work. I don't even add flavors. It works great and easy to pack up to take traveling too.,

Doesn't shave ice it crushes it. There is a blade that can be (adjusted) but not really.. if you move it to shave fine ice it gets caught on ice bucket
