Replaced an old unit with this one. Would be great if it were able to be dialed down as livewells sometimes do not need 500 GPM ... would love to see a setting or speed swith switch to offer a lower speed as well.
The pump didn't work for my application.

The pump didn't work as I thought it would. The pump didn't have clearance from the bottom of the boat when set at the angle position when going through the transom. I had to return it and no problem doing so.
Well i guess it WORKS but not without thru-hull

I am not going to rate the pump low because I am the idiot. It seems that this clearly labeled THRU-HULL pump will not function without the aforementioned thru-hull.. I attempted to use it as an in line pump and no dice. It seems to need the pressure from being under the water line to prime the pump and then it BLASTS the water out. My fault I guess but heads up to everyone else. if this is not the case then it doen't work...

Great pump for the money..Pumps LOTS of water.Wish i had known outlet was 3/4 inch though.Would be better if it had a 3/4 to 5/8 hose adaptor in the package for the smaller hjose in some boats but i made it work.Thank You.
