It's unwieldy, but it does the job! We built a support to keep this at a 70 degree angle in the sun, and we were able to maintain our 24-ft round pool at about 88 degrees through August in PA.

Does not come with any form of a mounting system. Pretty strong. I am building a mount for them above the pool so they will double as a shade.
