Good Safety Feature, but not the most practical

In most of the outlet covers the spring that supports the self closing mechanism (which is the safety feature we liked about the outlet), is too strong and "pushes out" whatever is plugged into the outlet. Example: i plug my cell phone charger in and there is just enough tension on the charger from the spring that my charger is slightly pushed out of the plug, preventing electrical contact. This results in my phone not charging. You have to hold the charger in place in order for it to work.

These are the best way to baby proof an outlet. I wouldn't buy anything else, they are so easy to use, nothing to pull out of the outlet just use the plug in your hand to slide the shield to the side and slide the plug in with one motion. Automatically closes behind you when you pull a plug out so even if something is plugged in and a child gets a hold of the cord it will be safe as soon as the cord is tugged out. I used these for my done and 10 years later I've purchased then again for my daughter they are still the best product on the market.

I just bought these and installed them all within a few minutes of their arrival. They are fantastic! So easy to install and keeps my 3 kids 3 and under a little safer. All of my kids could easily pull out the little plugs so this is a safer solution for us. Added bonus is I was planning on replacing the beige half of our outlet covers with white so they all matched and now I no longer need to do that!

We love these! We had bought all those annoying outlet plugs to keep our baby from jamming stuff in the outlets, but what we quickly realized is that it's a pain to take them out to vacuum, and then remember to put them back in afterwards. These covers are SO much better. We bought six for his nursery, and now we are going to buy them for the rest of the house. I read previous reviews, and I also wanted to add that I do not have any problems with things not plugging in all the way with these covers. They work just like a regular cover. I highly recommend this product.

The first pack of covers safety baby sent out did not fit any of my outlets. When I contacted customer service via email, the CEO replied within a couple hours. She was wonderful and she sent me out free replacements immediately. Happy to report that these new covers fit perfectly. They were super easy to install, look good and, most importantly, seem to keep my overt curious little one from stick his fingers and toys into the outlets.
Tip- make sure to look at your outlets and determine if you need covers that will require 1 screw in the middle or 2 screws( one at top, one at bottom).
