I can't attest to the old formula, as I've only ever used the new. I love them. I was already making pretty much the same thing at home, in my "lab" AKA kitchen. I was using coconut oil, tea tree oil, boric acid, oregon grape root, goldenseal and Pro-B. Yes, all mixed together and all as a suppository. I was using 600mg capsules of 100% boric acid for a time, but they began to cause irritation and eventually bleeding. (All this as a twice weekly maintenance regimen AFTER using boric acid for two weeks, only to realize it wasn't exactly gone, then for another week, then I said to heck with it and used it for a whole month. So. 7 weeks of boric acid. I have the vagina from somewhere between the 6th (flaming pit) and 7th (boiling blood) circle of hell and have been battling this same infection, c. parapsilosis, for almost an entire year now. Just say no to long term antibiotics) These wonderful little things are a blessing. I was sick of and starting to slack on my maintenance regimen out of boredom from mixing, forming, wrapping and freezing my own. The smell of these aren't as offensive as some are making it out to be. It doesn't smell like vomit or gasoline, and you can't smell them from a mile away. It has a slight scent of coco butter and tea tree oil only if your pants are around your ankles. I tend to wear pants most of the day, so the smell doesn't exist until I'm no longer wearing pants. Then and only then do I think, heck yes, the girlfriend smells like... lotion!? Sheesh. I find that the tea tree oil and boric acid are mixed in at exactly the correct amount as to be effective but not burn. The coco butter is rather greasy, but no more than coconut oil, which many people just adore as a personal lubricant, myself included. It coats and protects the lady labias from further irritation, burn, itch, whatever ails all your flappy lady bits, whilst delivering powerful skin healing herbs. All this, done au naturale. What more could you ask for? Besides cutting sugar and carbs from your life for a bit, adding a probiotic, and a dang good sense of humor, Vitanica Yeast Arrest is all you'll need for ridding the yeast beast for good. Happy healing. :)
These + Lactobacilli strains = effective

After having gyno elective surgery, I think I'll be dealing with the effects on my microbiota for the rest of my life. Unfortunately I got an infection right before the surgery so I was on antibiotics before to clear that and then came the high dose antibiotics for the surgery.
My digestive and vaginal biota was totally off. I never got yeast infections before but I got my first one soon after the surgery (Jan of this year). In trying to find probiotics to help my digestive system I'd have to deal with trial and error and by error I mean a probiotic that changed things allowing for yeast infections. I'd normally just tag team the infection with Diflucan and monistat, up my probiotics and cut back on my sugar. Things finally went back to normal for a while. I'd just get a mild infection right before my period when my estrogen levels dropped, once they came back up and my period would progress the infection would clear.
I just started a new hormonal birth control and it is throwing off my cycle, I got a yeast infection but because my period isn't normal the infection didn't go away. 2 doses of diflucan and 2 doses of the highest dose of monistat didn't help (along with taking acidophilus and reducing sugar). I took lamisil for 2 days just to switch up my antifungal medication which took care of the majority of the infection I was just left with a mild occasional ticklish itch.
In doing research I found these and advice that acidophilus alone is not the best way to approach outcompeting the candida. I bought a women's health probiotic with a bunch of lactobacillus strains including acidophilus and these and have found relief.

They are MESSY! But they work. I'm only going to use it at night right before bed. I'm hoping I won't need to use it during the day, it will not be fun. I'll update when I'm finished with the preventative regimen suggested on the box. I've no problem with the scent, just wash your hands after, it's not like it's permanent.
Yes, just yes

Tired of taking otc medicine or even prescribed meds that don't cut it? Use this but make sure to get two boxes, one only lasts a week and typically you'll need a 14 day course.
When you want natural remedies but not the hassle of starting your own apothecary...try this!!

If you do any light research on the internet, the same natural remedies seem to always appear for BV/ Yeast Infection. Tea tree oil, coconut oil, and ACV are the main ones as well as diet changes. I try to support my body & help bring it into better balance with natural methods. (If possible.)
My initial attempts to self-diagnose/treat yeast infection were paltry and inconsistent so of course, were not a lasting solution. When I finally went to the Dr and was rx'd Monistat 7 day, I figured I would try it. Holy good god, that stuff was a MESS to use! And, I never had much of an issue with itching until I used monistat. The itch was so intense and far up in there, I wanted to take a bottle brush to my vaginal walls for some relief! (I didn't.) And since you apply at night, good luck falling asleep... It worked but it was messy, miserably itchy, and full of not-natural stuff.
Anyway, I decided to give these Yeast Arrest suppositories a go when I noticed the beginnings of a yeast recurrence after a killer menstrual cycle. These are little bullet-shaped tabs you simply tuck up as far as you can. No pain, just maybe some slight heat as it starts to ooze out over inflamed & irritated vulva, but nothing extreme or lasting. I did NOT think these were messy after my monistat experience. Pantiliner worked just fine. The texture I'd read about on other reviews seems to me like it's just the coconut oil! The smell reminds me of a curry dish for some reason. Pretty much what you'd expect if you read the ingredient list. I felt complete relief of symptoms by day 2 and will finish my full week before tapering off to see how I do. I'm a fan & will keep these on hand for sure.
As a p.s.- it helped to mix several drops of tea tree oil with coconut oil and slather that on my lady lips during the itchy days. Coconut oil is a natural candida killer, tea tree is antifungal/bacterial and leaves a cooling sensation. Win-win!
Infection gone within 24hrs. Natural and effective.

I get a yeast infection EVERY TIME I have to take an antibiotic. Awful. I just know to expect it now and pop one of these ahead of time.

We don't need to use awful chemicals in us ever again, with stellar and immediate relief products like this one! I absolutely swear by this product (and personally pissed that docs don't recommend it. Over the counter meds for yeast infection are so horrible for a woman's body with various symptoms).

Time: It stops itchiness within 5 hours of use for me. Issue gone within 24 hours.

Cost: I found it expensive at first, but only need a couple suppositories per yeast infection because it's so effective. When I consider how one box lasts a year or so, it's not so expensive after all.

Use: it's a suppository, so be mindful that discharge is a thing. Thick-ish panties will be necessary for the first 10 hours of use. Nothing that stains, but put a hold on your cute lingerie for about 24 hours and bring out the cotton granny panties.

The smell is nice, like a teatree ointment. The oil texture is very good for genitals so don't worry about it :)

I leave the suppositories in a little guest box in my birthroom. My girlfriend's always ask for it when they come over. Even if you don't have an infection it's so good for your pH balance!

Note: I use for yeast, however, ingredients are tea tree, neem oil, and Vitamin E. Very powerful in aiding relief to symptoms for STI's like hsv. Multiple use here, share with your loved ones.

ENJOY taking care of your beautiful body naturally!
