Just like the one I was issued and my daughters stole it from me saying it keeps the boogie man away and the nightmares away. So it looks like I will be ordinary nother and keeping it to my self.
too small.

Product is smaller than it should be. One I received was any 52" wide and 75" long. The regulation size is 68"x82" i am pretty disappointed as i was needing to replace one i lost while in the service. I really miss it and now i have tp buy another one from a different vendor.
Couldn't be without it

I didn't even know these existed until I read about them on our favorite expedition website/message board. Poncho liner? What's that? It's extremely warm and if I were limited on what I could carry and wanted to stay warm this would be THE thing to bring. My dogs like to steal it from me when camping but I've gotten to enjoy it many times and can't fathom camping below freezing without it.
Woobie is life.

I adore this blanket.
Other reviewers have noted some loose stitching, and I can confirm that if you look you'll probably find a little.
On the other hand, the warmth provided borders on the realm of dark magic. We keep our house at about 60 degrees at night and I've slept comfortably on the couch in t-shirt and jeans with just this blanket. I've also thrown it over a down comforter in bed because the comforter feels nicer but the added insulation is noticeable. It's just polyester filling like you'd find in most commercial sleeping bags, but it really works compared to just adding another layer of cotton or fleece.

Manufacturing flaw

The Poncho liner we were sent has a defect near the bottom at the label. The stitching seems to have been re-done after a failed attempt. When you look at the other side of the flaw there is a spot where there is no stitching and the "fluff" is coming out of the poncho liner. It's still usable, but the workmanship is poor.
