Just had a chance to try this thing out today and so far so good.
I saw some negative reviews. A couple mentioned the return spring not being strong enough. I had this problem as well, but upon investigation, I found that the spring wasn't properly seated on it's post behind the trigger. Easy fix. No big deal.
We're about to do about 50 square of cedar with this thing so I'll update.

Reliable, must have for vinyl siding

I used the Bostitch stapler 651S5 to install vinyl siding. It worked very well. You may have to reduce the air pressure down as I did, but that will depend on your hose length/diameter. Be sure to hold the stapler parallel to the work surface! If you are not parallel the staple will be driven in too deep. Very reliable. I think I only experienced one jam throughout the entire job. This is much faster and saves hitting your fingers with a hammer when installing vinyl siding. Be sure you lubricate every few hours of use ( I use air compressor oil) and this tool should provide good service for years.

This is exactly what I needed to install t&g siding on my shed. This stapler feels good in your hand for long periods of time and never jammed. Good price and great quality. I would definitely by another Bostitch product again.

there not holding up like they used to and I brought it for repair under warranty to the Dewalt service center since Dewalt was servicing these guns because they bought Bostich a little while back but now have sold them to someone else and now I cant get it serviced there. they said I would have to send them way up north somewhere. but I did talk to my tool guy where we buy most of our tools and nails and he said they would repair them. anyway we are changing brands on the staple guns and giving another brand a shot.
