I bought these for my Dad who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 caner and has come home on hospice. His cancer is in his hip bones and he's in excruciating pain so to get up to go to the bathroom or even to sit bedside on a portable potty was out of the question. Just the slightest movement trying to use a bed urinal hurts. We made these work by using the tie strings to keep the bag in place and it was a HUGE step towards helping make it easier on him. I had several ICU nurses ask me if they could take the box and show it to the other staff. They were quite impressed by how well they worked. He would sleep with it on and felt comfortable knowing he wasn't going to wake up soiled. Very happy with these.
