So, the upper slots allow for the tray to remain fairly level...but the lower ones (last two) which I need to use do not. They tilt forward and doesn't stay stable for the table. The bowls slide off. If you have a taller animal, it would work well. Mine is a smaller guy and so I basically prop it up with a towel...which, technically, I could have done that without this device.

It looks nice but the screws provided to attach the legs to the back are not substantial enough to hop the unit erect. Once I placed 2 full water bowls on the tray, the tray tipped forward. And yes, I had tightened the screws very well and had to do it over and over. But the unit could be wiggled loose by hand.

Fedex man was mad because I turned him in for not actually trying to deliver package when I was home so he opened the initial package AND beat the package and the item was decent considering the box was beat until it had holes all over the front and back of box! I am very impressed with this product and packaging! I was able to still use product even after its beating from an angry FedEx Delivery man! Great packaging and product!
