and easy to assemble

This is as advertised, and easy to assemble. The batteries for the sign, however, were completely dead. Fortunately, I found I could buy a pack of the batteries (it needs two) on Ebay for a few dollars. In the meantime, I placed the sign at the spot I want to stop. When my bumper touches it, the sign wobbles and I know that's the place. So with or without batteries, I am satisfied with this product. It beats trying to pin a tennis ball on a string to the ceiling of the garage.
UPDATE 1/24/18 - New batteries didn't help. The sign blinked once when I first put them in, but that was it. Oh well, still does the job without lighting up.

Parking sign arrived in a box that looked like it had been returned. Parts were loose in box and first inspection revealed that the red lens has a large crack.
The LEDs didn't light. Found that one battery had leaked. Replaced batteries and set unit up only to find that it bends to the weight of the head. Rotated so it bends towards the car, and when contacted LEDs totally intermittent.
Don't really need the LEDs as the Stop sign moves when you touch it with the bumper. Decided that its better than a ball hanging from the ceiling.

NOT A VERY STURDY STOP SIGN

This little sign is a piece of garbage...it is poorly made, the thin little poles that you put together does not seem to sustain the little "Red Stop" sign
and it goes off very easily, I feel that the poles should be thicker and stronger because after putting it together it just won't stay up and falls
over on the hood of my car, I tried twisting the the little sticks but they're still very flimsy and wobbly. I hate it cause my car garage is a one car
garage and I usually go a bit past where I need a little space to get to my washer and dryer which is where mine are located and thats why
I bought this thinking that it would help but obviously I have found it to be rather useless for me.
I don't know if other customers have the same issue with theirs being wobbly and flimsy like mine!

Worked perfectly once I replaced rusted out batteries

I purchased one of these years ago at a Kohl's store. I liked it so much I decided to look on Amazon for a similar one. This is exactly like the one I already have. I was very disappointed that the LED feature didn't work out of the box. When I opened up the battery compartment I found out why. The batteries included were rusted and partially corroded. I cleaned up the contacts, put in a new set of batteries and it worked perfectly. We can now park with out crushing our son's power wheel jeep! I deducted 2 stars because I paid double the price for this item on Amazon than I did 2 years ago at Kohl's and I still had to purchase my own batteries to make it work. The seller was Picker City for those who are interested.
Very handy and long lived little garage gadget that can keep your bumpers off the wall.

A long car and a shorter garage, where do you stop? This sits at the front of the car and when you contact the whip the stop light blinks to let you know you've gone in far enough. Works well I've given them as gifts and used one myself for more than 3 years. One battery change so far.
Note, the bottom will tend to move over time as you contact it repeatedly with your car bumper. So you will need to either be mindful of moving it back in place or do what I do and put a velcro patch down to mark exactly where you want it to be and keep it there.
