A towel bar had been poorly installed by the builder and when it came loose, I was left with a 1.25" diameter hole. Patching and using simple expanding screw mounts didn't work. Since the bar mounting hardware covered the hole and resulting damage, the simplest solution was to use a snaptoggle that could span the hole and hold. 15 minutes after receiving the package from Amazon, the bar was reinstalled and only I am aware of the hole behind the mount.
Solid way to fasten to drywall. Easy to use

I read the negative reviews, but I figured most of the problems were due to operator error. I installed about 40 of these a few weeks ago and didn't have a problem with any of them. You do need to have an idea what is behind the wall. That is what a stud finder is for. Also several of them I had to make sure they were sitting flush before I tightened them. Insulation can get under an edge and cause them not to be level which could cause a problem installing bolt. I made sure the bolts would start before I installed into wall in case something was stripped. I ran them down with an electric screw gun but tightened them by hand to keep from stripping heads. These are not stainless steel fasteners. You have to know what you're working with before you start. I could do chin ups on the rails I put up they are so secure. I will definitely buy more. These are the strongest way to secure items in drywall I have used. Everything else I've used has been junk compared to these.
