Won't find a better unit for the price. Very pleased with purchase. I also have the SFQ 1, which has a better bass response, but this unit still sounds great, is smaller, portable, and well worth the $30.00 price I paid. Sound quality is excellent for all styles of music.
Best sound for the money - functional too!

I bought one of these in a store several years ago for $100 for our office - its easy for anyone to sync their phone up to, and it has a USB plug for charging, so the antiquated 30-pin dock is not a concern. Bought this one for our new warehouse, and the sound is just unbelievable! Nice, round sound even at high volume (if environment acoustics are good). Worth every penny!

I bought this speaker so that I could listen to music while in the basement washing clothes and working out. I was more than happy with the quality of the sound as well as how loud I could turn the volume up to. There is a feature where I can boost the base some and I absolutely love that aspect of this thing. It is not very heavy at all and I have been using it with my iPad to play music and even watch movies on Netflix. This little portable speaker is the best speaker I have ever had. The clarity in sound is flawless and I recommend this speaker to anyone who wants something portable that has great sound. You'll definitely not be dissatisfied with the quality of this speaker. It is so nice that my fiance bought himself one too!

I purchased two as Christmas presents. One was for my 15 year old son who has all his music on his i-phone. It took 2 minutes to sync them together so the speaker worked wirelessly. Now we can all hear his music (that's not always a good thing) rather than watch him tune us out with his earbuds. It is a powerful speaker and plays with clarity. It also has a blue light, which looks great on his dresser. The other one I purchased for my brother, who is a musician in New York. He is really picky about his sound equipment, so I wasn't sure if he would like it because it wasn't a famous name brand and was not too expensive. But I figured if he didn't like it, he could just return it (Amazon is fair with returns). But... he loved it! Two thumbs up. We all love this product and would recommend it. For the price... you can't beat it.

After looking long and hard for a *portable* and battery powered bluetooth sound dock, I chose the Soundfreaq SFQ-02RB and I could not be happier.
The Bluetooth setup was a breeze, the controls are very easy to use.
The best part: Rich full sound that fills more than one room! I was previously used to the famous bose sound dock for iPod so I was expecting to be disappointed with the sound...but honestly its only *slightly* below the bose system. If the Bose system gets a 10 out of 10, this one gets a 9.5 out of 10, and its smaller than the bose also (at less than half the price!).
If you want an easy to use, portable, battery driven sound dock, this one will not disappoint.
