Great product; I mostly use it to fill rot holes in our retaining wall after treating the wood with a copper solution. Recently we drop a dish on the edge of a our Quaztcite counter top. This is an expensive top and I was able to match (with this product) the color to the point that no one would ever know that it had been chipped. It also hardened to the point that it appears the same as the original counter material. I always keep some on hand and the self life seems to be several years.
But they were pretty full and the contents are really light in weight

I was surprised about how light the 2 containers were, expecting them to be 1/4 full. But they were pretty full and the contents are really light in weight. I prepared the first batch to fix a window sill rotten base about the size of my fist, and within a minute of kneading, it was homogenous light tan. I applied to the cavity I had scraped out and roughly pressed it in and within 15 minutes it was already hard to the touch. I waited an hour more and I sanded it down to match the window sill. It came up perfect. I have since used it on 3 other holes and I give it 5 starts.

Bonds well and and with the help of some wood hardener I was able to repair the sill plate at the corner of my house without having to replace it. Hardens fast and is waterproof. Great for small repairs.

Painted our house this past Fall and had quite a good amount of wood-rot under some of our windows (Connecticut seasons are tough). With this kit I was able to fill in quite a few big holes after digging them out, cleaning and using the liquid hardener. Sanding was easy and I can't tell where the rot was once I painted everything. Time will tell how it holds up but based on how it hardened in place and how durable it seemed I don't think there will be any problems.
