One review said that it makes the cigars to damp. I had the same problem. then i put all the cigars in the case without removing the rapper and it works great. it is like a humidor inside a humidor. works for me.Just Saying.

Outstanding case for austre enviroments. I work overseas a lot and usually in the desert. I purchased this recently and packed it full of stogies. I needed something rugged and capable of keeping my cigars at roughly the right humidity. In this regards it works perfectly.

There are some comments about the inner seal being to big and not installed. I do not know why the maker did not do this but all you have to do is cut the provided seal stuff it in the top where it belongs and cut the excess.

Great case holds humidity very well and is beyond durable. I take it camping and hunting and it takes all the abuse. My only complaint is I wish the slots for the cigars were wider. almost none of my cigars actually fit in the slots. I removed the top foam tray and it does work well though.

Great storage for a good price, as pictured 2 Montecristo Edmundo cigars fit back to back in each slot although the slots aren't quite large enough for them. The # 4 Montecristo fit in the slot perfectly but only 1 per slot. I am using Boveda humidity packs and did use the cidar from the cigar boxes on the top and bottom. I ordered the Mikiz digital hydrometer/thermometer combo and cut a slot for it. It did have a slight odor to it but leaving it open over night got rid of it.

Great cigar case. Bought for a 10 yr anniversary present (I filled w/ 20 of his fave cigars!) for my husband who is currently deployed. The only reason for the missing star is that the foam inserts, each cigar niche is a bit smaller than anticipated, being just a bit shy of properly holding standard cigars (Rocky Patel 90, diameter, not length). The nub style cigars (CAO Brazilia/Italia & Oliva G Series) were a very hard fit & don't actually sit in the niche, but rather just sit on the tops of them. This just makes one of the foam inserts unable to hold cigars, but will still hold the cigars safely. Wish the niches were slightly wider or more expandable, at least on half of the foam inserts. Overall will do it's job, just a a slightly lower cigar capacity.
