Great quality and nice look

Great quality and nice look. The humidifier does not give a good reading so I bought a digital one for this unit. My boyfriend has been playing around with it and finally got it to hold the humidity but has to keep a shot glass full of distilled water in it to keep the desired temperature.

I like it! Looks good. Convenient views through glass sections. Small flashlight inside humidor in a dark room revealed no gaps in fit of closed top. Seasoned it until 70%+. Filled (nearly to capacity) with cigars, humidity dropped and then recovery to a steady 70%. I covered the keyhole with tape (OCD ?). Got what I paid for, good value.

the humidifier temp is a pain in the ass and the directions were not clear or lack there of & temp only rises when full of cigars

Two stars for elegance, but it will not maintain humidity above 58%. Bought four months ago. It really is a beautiful box. I followed the conditioning instructions to the letter. I added a digital hygrometer, which I calibrated precisely. I added two tube humidifiers. Out of frustration I also set up a dry storage camping/canoeing box, the kind you buy at Wal-Mart for a few bucks, and sitting in the same spot in my home - it holds 70 - 72% RH, no problem.

This humidor is absolutely gorgeous in person. It feels solid and the hinges open and close near flawlessly. I like being able to view the cigars without opening it. The built in hygrometer doesn't seem to work at all but that is fine as I had a digital one all ready to go. It smells wonderful every time I open it. I would definitely purchase this again if given the opportunity.
