really bad. I had bought the Peas heat-cold ice packs ...

This product is really, really bad. I had bought the Peas heat-cold ice packs before at CVS in the past and they lasted for years, but Amazon doesn't carry that brand so I thought, "Why not try this." There are hardly any beads inside so the product does not hold the cold. I found a local CVS and just bought several of the Peas products of about the same size as this one and that I had bought in the past. Criminy, I thought the quality would be similar but this product is a real ripoff. I can't return it, and I won't bother keeping it. That's how useless it is.
Great hot/cold packs!

Love these! I initially bought two of these at Target and thought they were great. They're easy to conform around joints and are much more comfortable than traditional hot/cold packs. Since they only stay cold for between 20-30 minutes, I decided to buy 2 more off of Amazon, that way I can keep 2 in the freezer to switch out, and 2 I keep at room temperature for use as hot packs.
They were great, and was estatic to find these on Amazon ...

Suffered concussion. Opthamologist said to get these round pads to help relieve eye strain and fatigue while I recover. She let me try cold ones in her office to see how they felt. They were great, and was estatic to find these on Amazon for a fraction of the price. The shipment arrived today and instead of the rounds, they sent 2 sports packs. While one can cover both of my eyes, my head is still extremely sensitive and cannot tolerate the weight of one bag. I cannot sleep on my back as it irritates the lower portion of the back of my skull. Will try laying on my side and see if resting the pack against the back of my head helps at all. Think the one star is more out of my product fulfillment than the product itself, as they were great at the eye clinic.
It's soft and works but doesn't stay cool for longer than about 10 minutes

Used for a couple of weeks for a foot surgery. It's soft and works but doesn't stay cool for longer than about 10 minutes. So if you need to ice longer than that it's not that great. Plus it started leaking and I had to throw it away. It's not that expensive so I gues you get what you pay for. But it does strap to your foot nicely.
Does it's job well and is good for smaller areas for portable icing or heating.

I've only used this for heat so far but it works well. It doesn't take long to heat up from room temperature. It stayed real nice and hot for like 10 mins and then a good warm temperature for another 20 mins or so. My mother has this and she uses it cold and I know it stays cold for much longer than hot.
It's a good size to use on small areas like on top of the shoulder or on the knee. Can pin point an area on the back if needed but like to use a larger heat pad for that.
