Dermalure skin care products are great and the neutralizer works as described when used in conjunction with any of their peels. A lot of people also use the old baking-soda plus water formula (2-3tbsp baking soda + 8 ounces water), but for best results, it's safest to use the neutralizers that are formulated for peels.
Overall, this is a great neutralizing product for your lactic acid peel. Definitely a keeper.

After researching several neutralizers for glycolic peels, I read alot of reviews, recommending Dermalure Acid Neutralizer Skin pH Balance. I did a patch test today with a glycolic peel I ordered. Its recommended, to do a patch test with glycolic acids so, thats what I did. Then, I used Dermalure Acid Neutralizer on my patch test spot. I didn't notice much burning from the glycol though. I don't have sensitive skin. But, it's necessary to neutralize the glycolic acid. The mild burning, or I'll just say tingling, neutralzed pretty quickly when I applied the Dermalure Acid Neutralizer. With my ecperience using Dermalure, and how effective it worked to neutralize the glycolic acid I had on my test patch spot, I'm not nervous any longer about doing the rest of my face. Dermalure Acid Neutralizer, also gave me the confidence, to purchase a higher % of glycolic acid the next time I need to purchase a bottle. Its always recommended, to start at 10% to 30% glycolic acid if you are a beginner. Don't think because a neutralizer is very effective, you can go higher on the %. You still have to apply the acid to your face. Neutralizing process is second. I'm going to go ahead and recommend Dermalure Acid Neutralizer to anyone doing a glycolic peel. Whether you're using a low % glycolic acid, or a higher %. Dermalure IS effective at neutralizing the glycolic acid. Always read direction. Don't rely on others outcome, expecting the same for you. Reading reviews, and underdtanding other users experiences, will give you the understanding of how these products work and how they may work for you.
