I like them, but I ended up adjusting these a little. My pain is primarily in my second (longest) toe. I have arthritis that's beginning to effect that toe, causing it to curl under and push against the bottom of my shoe, making all my shoes feel a little too tight. To use these all day (and I have), I cut away most of the pinky-toe and ring-toe (is that a thing?) sleeves. I also found I had to cut away a good portion of the big-toe sleeve--I guess the question of which toe is the longest is answered differently by different folks. Anyway, once I'd made adjustments to the lengths of the toe sleeves, I found the sock to be pretty comfortable as long as I wore a thinner sock over the top of it to keep the toe sleeves from being pushed/rolled up, which caused undue pressure. (I don't begrudge the manufacturers the needed adjustments--everybody's feet are different.)

The only reason I put 4 instead of 5 stars is the band: The only thing uncomfortable about the sock is the band that goes around the middle of my foot. It's a little . . . awkwardly placed. Though it's not painful, I feel as if I'm walking around with a band around my arch, which I don't need because my arches are already well developed. Once I walk on it for a while, I don't notice it anymore, but it is annoying.

I'm thinking about trying it out with my ballroom shoes (and for that reason I wish it came in a nude color). I'll let you know how it works out . . .

I didn't expect the silicone to cover much beyond the toes, but it's applied to most of the sock, which is great for making it stick to your skin I guess? They aren't uncomfortable really, but when I was walking around in them, I was a little frustrated because they did start working their way off, under my socks or work by themselves. Unfortunately my work shoes fit too closely for me to try wearing these in them, but my only complaint is that they try to come off. I don't regret buying them, but I don't think I'll be ordering again-- to each his own.

love love love these. I had problem with second toe moving due to previous injury. It started bruising the big toe. Foot doctor shrugs and says surgery or I can tape the second toe to the third. I tried the later, since I am not in the mood for someone cutting on me. Helped some, but both toes still seemed to bruise when they were in shoes. Someone gave me a pair of FootSmart's gel lined to spreaders. Love it, but it kept slipping back from my little toe. I got on and looked if they had a longer version, which turned out to be there. PERFECT. My toes are happy campers again. No bruising and it feels so comfortable to walk again!

I purchased these with two purposes in mind. First I wanted to separate my smallest toe because it is a hammertoe and is painful when I walk. I had also developed blisters after walking some long distances and I wanted some gel protection for my feet.

The first time I put the socks on they were a little harder to put on, but no harder than any other "toe" sock. After that, I think the toe portions had stretched a little and it was pretty easy to put them on.

After walking in these, I was amazed at the change in my feet. What had been tough, ugly, calloused skin was now butter-soft. I have not had anymore blisters since wearing these while I walk long distances. They seem to have held up very well, most of the gel is still intact. They do get very dirty easily and I haven't been able to get them back to their brand-new white color. But since I wear other socks on top of them, I don't care about the color. I wash them by hand and hang them up to dry.

My only complaint about these is that they don't cover the whole foot. I have yet to find something as effective for my heel area.

If your only intent is to wear these at night, cleaning won't be as much of an issue and you will love how soft your feet will become. Not only would I buy them again, I just purchased another pair to have as a spare.

These little socks help keep toes on place and keeps feet flatter whilst sleeping. Helps with planter fascists. If you have a hard time putting them on then wear them inside out.
