works well but a bit harder to use the two green ones that clamp the ball in place so I can mark from and back so to speak without having to move the ball. With this one you need to move the ball so mis alignment is more of a possibility. If you only wish to mark one side of the ball this one will work and it has no moving parts-- Would have gave it four stars but did not come without the pen, which I already had plenty of.

This is a really neat tool. With this exception of one request I could rate it a 5 star. The center line of the marker could be wider. Some of us like to cover the underlining label on the ball. Just a suggestion. The extra alignment marker in really nice. Be prepared for some complaining by your playing buddies! :)
A must for improving your putt game

Works as intended! The plastic is pretty sturdy for the price and it snaps around the ball, which makes for easy use. The Sharpie has been used multiple times now and still works great.

Easy to draw lines on golf balls with this tool

This template clips onto any golf ball and makes it easy to draw either one line or several on a golf ball. Some templates have to be held on the ball with one hand while you draw with the other. Not this product. It snaps right on the ball. I also noticed the Dave Pelz sells golf balls with 2 lines on the ball to make it easy to see if you are stroking a putt with a square face and good path. Well you can put 3 lines on your ball using this template and it will serve the same purpose at much lower cost. I like it.
