I really love this ball machine. I absolutely would recommend buying it with the 2-button remote, which makes life A LOT more convenient. Otherwise, you will find yourself having to sprint to the other side the court after turning it on, sprinting back to turn it off when a ball gets stuck, when you need to pause it to take an important phone call, or when you want to make an adjustment to the machine's settings.
I give it 4 stars because:
1) a ball gets stuck in the machine now and then. Sometimes pausing it with the remote and turning it back on after a few seconds does the trick, sometimes it requires making a trip to free up the stuck ball.
2) The machine design and materials have a little bit of an 80's look and feel. Glad it's black though and not an 80's beige or pastel color.
3). The battery needs to be left on a trickle charger at all times when not in use, otherwise the battery will lose its charge and it's life will be drastically reduced.
4). I'm only 5' 8", but have found I have to lean over a little bit when rolling it out on its two wheels. It's not tall enough.
