Works great for beginner building up my stroke. It is roughly like a partner tossing the ball to you, but with a fair amount of topspin (unlike the descriptiona that say it has no topspin, by design it spits out a slow ball with a fair amount of topspin). When hitting off the bounce got easy, hitting it straight out of the air let me make even more progress. I think this was a pretty good buy.
