This bench is outstanding! It looks good, is sturdy and comfortable. I looked high and low for a good adjustable bench. This one is perfect for piano players form large to small. The adjustment knobs are easy to turn, but it does take a lot of rotations to move up and down significant distances. Note I did say knobs. There is one knob on each end. It is easiest to make adjustments by using both hands turning the knobs at the same time if the player is sitting on the bench. Each rotation only moves the bench a small distance, which is one of the reasons why the bench has a solid feel. Off of the bench it can be adjusted up or down by only turning one of the knobs (they are physically connected), but even then I found it is easier and faster to use both knobs.

This bench is best suited for one player or people around the same height. The length of the bench fits one person perfectly, but it is not long enough to fit two players at a time unless they are small children. Go with the longer bench if you need two players at a time. The storage under the bench is pretty much the same as a standard bench. Easily fits music books and other small items.

Nice and sturdy, good quality. My only disappointment is that the sheet music storage space is quite shallow.

This bench is awesome. Extremely well made. And so much better for spending hours at the piano than my other metal framed bench. I bought the leather and this bench will be the last one I will ever need to buy. Very sturdy mechanism for adjusting the height of the seat so you can set it at the perfect height for whoever is using it. I can't think of one negative thing about this bench. It is well worth the price they are asking and more. I love it!

This is the most comfortable artist's bench I have ever sat on. It was incredibly simple to assemble -- just four screws. SUPER STURDY!! No wobble, even on my sometimes uneven floors. I am in love with this seat. I know it's a little on the higher end price wise but I opted for this as I intend on using it for decades if it'll let me, and I believe it will. It is worth the price. Thank you for making a great product!

This is a very attractive piano bench. It was easy to assemble and arrived quickly. It is reasonably comfortable, but would be better with more padding or maybe better padding. It adjusts easily, but after a few months of use the bench is very creaky. I tried tightening all the bolts, but the noise seems to be from the mechanism that adjusts the height.
