False Advertising- no large stones in set

I am disappointed with the size of the stones. There are no large stones...3 inch stones are not large and cannot hold heat long. I have a hot stone set and large stones are 5-6 inches and hold heat much longer than smaller stones. I am trying to return this product.

I bought these for my mom who recently finished massage school. She loves that they are different sizes! I also purchased the Sivan Health and Fitness 18QHTR Top Massage LArge Professional Hot Stone 18 Quart Heater to go with it. She is able to fit all the rocks in there, plus some small wash clothes. She gave me a massage with the different sized rocks and it was wonderful! They held the heat for about 5 minutes.

Packaged carefully in a box with styrofoam already around it to prevent breakage and Amazon sent it within another box. The small (toe) rocks are too big to fit between my toes but I will use them in other areas. Could be I have small toes but I have river rocks I had collected that match perfectly with this set. Rocks are smooth and of different size - will work and I am excited to use them.
The box is somewhat fragile as it is made of bamboo with a latch that bends easily. I will see about replacing the latch to keep rocks covered and together in one place.
I give this set a 5 as it is not the box I am going to put to work - the rocks are the product I am reviewing and they are the variety of sizes I need.

Very nice starter set for hot stone massage

Very nice starter set for hot stone massage. These massage stones do not have any "personality" like individually found stones would. However, they are of good quality, very smooth, and provide a nice even heat that is long lasting. Wooden box is also of nice quality and provides a attractive presentation for the stones. The box will look nice in my office. Great stones to start my collection with.

Stones are a bit more 'square' than I was expecting, and there are only small and medium stones, nothing that would otherwise likely be recognized as a 'solar plexus' stone that's great for work on large muscle areas such as the prone back and hips. A decent set for the price nonetheless. Neutral feelings on the box as I tend to store them in the crockpot or roaster that they'll be heated up in.
